Anyone care to share their white vinegar garden use success stories?

For weed killing? I don't know what else you could use it for? I used it mixed with clove or orange oil (something to help dissolve any waxy coating on leaves) and a bit of soap to make it stick, as a weed killer. Sprayed on hot, dry days, it does any okay job.

Yup, it's an alright weed killer and the only one I ever use. I like to pour it full strength on the roots.

Awesome. I truly hate the chemical weed killers. DH thinks they are the only thing that works. I convinvced him to put compost under the mulch this year to try and drown them out naturally.....but if I can slow em' down more with vinegar and show him we can eliminate the chemicals, I'd be so happy. One more step towards healthier family, home and planet, ya know? Baby steps, I tell him....each one counts.

slug slaughtering. I don't have much luck with weed killing. Mostly we burn our weeds out witha torch. But it kills slugs dead for sure!
