DD and this baby will be 15 months apart, assuming I don't go early like I did with DD. I'm glad they'll be close in age when they're older, but the thought of having two under two is totally intimidating!<br><br>
Anyone else have babes close in age??

My first 5 are all about 2 yrs or under apart with the last 2 being 15 months. I've always enjoyed having them closer together. The distance between this one and my last baby is closer to 3 yrs which is kind of weird for me.

My girls are 1y1m1d apart.<br>
It was a HUGE challenge, imo, but there were also huge benefits. The wardrobe was recycled (until they got to about 3 and 4... they have very different body types), the phases were over in one big swoop (just longer than usual, rather than getting a lull before starting ALL over again!), none of the baby equipment had to be packed up then packed away (It was all gone at once. We thought we were done. Oops.) and nobody ever asked me to do anything, because my hands were so full. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/thumb.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="thumbs up">

These two will be 2 years apart exactly. That feels really close together to me. I wanted to wait until ds had nursed alone at least 2 years before getting pregnant. But I'm also looking forward to them being closer in age to play together as they get older. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">

Derek and this baby will be about 11.5 months apart.<br><br>

Rose and Alina are 15 months apart and so are Alina and Ben. Ben will be 22 months old when this baby is born. I find that even though it's hard on me to have them so close together, they love it!<br><br><div style="margin:20px;margin-top:5px;">

i prefer close together babies<br><br>
My kids were spaced 13 months between 1 and 2, 22 months between 2 and 3. There is 5 1/2 years between 3 and 4, and there will be about 18-19 months between 4 adn 5<br>
I think it is fun!

Ours are close together too, our first 4 we had all in 4 years and this new little one will be born 3.5 years later. We have loved having them so close together but for my bodies sake I am glad there was a break between number 4 and this one <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">

4 and 5- 16 months<br>

7 and 8- three years<br>
8 and this one- 19 months<br><br>
For me it was so much easier to have them closer. The last few gave me enough time to get used to sleep and used to the older stages, before I had to start over again. #3 and #4 are best friends, #5 and #6 are best friends.
