Oooh I'm jealous. I have only been once but at the time I couldn't help but thing what a kid-friendly festival it was -- the weather is nice and mild (especially if you've ever experienced Bonnaroo), camping is chill with plenty of space, and the venue, a community college, is roomy with plenty of greenspace, real bathrooms, as well as non-cruddy portable toilets. So no advice really, just a thumbs up & have a good time from me!
Yep, when I was there in '06, I remember using the facilities in one of the buildings they had open, and the portable units were the much nicer ones, with actually enough room to turn around, and sinks.
Havent been there, but I have been going to the Grassroots music festival up here in Ithaca ny for 14 years....I am so glad that I will be able to keep going down there in Nc. Have any of you gone? Its wonderful, U can dance to zydeco til the sun comes up....
We had the best time, and will be making this fest a yearly family tradition. Next year we'll do more than one day. It was super family friendly and put together extremely well.
