My oldest son is only 3, but I'm fairly confident he'll still be nursing when he's six. Does that count?

Another vote for "good for you"! What an amazing gift.

My DD turned 5 in Feb., she is slowing down drastically lately. which I don't mind. no one else in the family nursed much past four, she seems huge.

Mine tapered off seriously when he was about 4 1/2, and hasn't asked at all since shortly past his fifth birthday. He's over 5 1/2 now. So I guess I won't be able to join the nursing-a-six-year-old tribe any time soon.

But good for you that you're still at it!

I'm nursing my 5 year old now. I nursed her older sister until a few months after she turned 5, but I was tandem nursing still and weaned her. I think she would still nurse at 7 if I would let her!

I am slowly weaning my current 5 year old daughter, and it's all me doing the weaning. She would nurse much more than I let her. Right now we are nursing maybe once every other day.

Glad to know there are others out there! I'd certainly do it again if I had a 3rd child, but I'm ready for a break-- been nursing one or 2 kids at a time for 7 1/2 years straight!
