I hear others post they would/would not TTC in certain months due to star signs.
This is interesting!!
I am Pisces, is there a certain month that is good/bad for me?
I seem to really like people born in early oct. or feb/march. & certain people from certain months bug the ***** out of me(I won't say what months is that normal? Where do I find out more?
Here are some helpful links:

List of Traits for Children of Various Sun Signs

Compatability of Mother & Child via Sun Signs

I would also look up compatability between your DP and potential child, as well as comparing Moon & Rising signs (Google those if you don't know what they are). It is difficult to say for sure because your child's astrological profile will vary greatly even by the hour or minute he/she is born. :

There are other sites I've seen that are really good, but I can't find them or think of the names. Google is your friend!

Hope that helps!

I'm no expert, but I've been pointed to this site: http://www.astro.com/horoscopes/ahor.asp

Really, it helps to have a friend who is tuned into all that stuff I'll wait with you for that star-knowing mama to respond here!

you know, it's totally nerdy of me but i always check what my baby would be if i conceived in a given month. i'm a gemini and have always butted heads with pisces and virgo, and if i get pregnant in december i'd be due for a virgo.

what really bummed me out was the cycle when i would have been due on my birthday. i just think that would be fun to say, that i'm due exactly on my birthday.

anyway, about star signs, people could also consider the ascendent sign instead of the sun sign. the ascendent sign depends on the time of day you're born. my ascendent is aries - apparently it more accurately describes my personality than my sun sign.

who knows! it's all good fun, but i wouldn't personally avoid ttc just because of astrology.

i got really bummed last cycle cause i got a BFN the day before my bday. really wanted that BFP for a birthday present!

i'm sag with pisces rising and my DH is pisces with sag rising, so needless to say i would love to have a little earth sign baby to ground our family or a little air sign baby to give us some perspective around here. it's often quite watery/fiery!

i like astrology but wouldn't change ttc based on it - okay, i'll admit i did get a little nervous for the aries and leo due date cycles but i would've still loved to have had those babies...

As a Leo mom to a Leo DS, I was sad to get a BFN last month which would have been another Leo baby--that would be a lot of Leos in one house, but might have been nice, too. If this month doesn't work (I hope it works!!!), I will actually take next cycle off to avoid a Libra baby. No offense to Libras here, but my X and X's entire family are Libras and I really don't want to go that route :

hey girls..I just wanted to add that many believe if you come across a certain sign (that you have issues with) frequenty during your life it's often because that sign(including the person) has alot of qualites that should be developed in yourself ....ex: i'm a cancer who used to come across many (I mean many)Aries people and I hated it because they're dynamic always on the go nature made me very uncomfortable , until I learned to incorporate those qualites into my daily existance.......I think this can be applied to our children also...who says they do not or will not have things to teach us! Personnally I don't even consider what month they might be born in because I feel that regardless of the outcome the relasionship can only be positive and productive in the long run......just a thought..........
oh and also astrology is much more complex that simply the sun sign(birth month) as I think someone mentioned before...

Also, you might find that you get along with males of a certain sign but not females or vice versa. I'm a Cancer too, and I have problems with Aries as well. My mom is an Aries, lol. Mama2noah, in my experience the Aries trait that usually annoys me is related to ego. I have also found that cookie cutter astrology says I get along with Scorpios, but IRL I have never met one that didn't eventually screw me over. I also pay attention to rising signs because they often are what make someone not 'act' like their sign. I'm all screwed up because I'm water with a whole bunch of Leo in my chart.

The universe is gonna get ya anyway. I find that Capricorns (mostly male) and Aquarians (both sexes) drive me batty most of the time, and since I was 'sterile' for years, it is a huge cosmic joke that I conceived my DS with a man who is on the cusp of Capricorn and Aquarius. My DS is an Aquarius, and DSD is an Aquarius. To say my children alternately baffle and frustrate me would be a great understatement. But they will never be dull or boring.

Google astrology chart and you'll find a bunch of places where you can get free charts and various types you can buy. I had someone do a relocation astro chart for me years ago when I was thinking of moving to California, and she actually told me I would love it there, but would be even happier if I moved further SW of San Francisco. I think it's pretty funny that we moved to Hawaii years after I had that chart done.

^ Hehe I am a "double" Aquarius, so I have an idea of how UNboring and UNpredictable your LOs are. :

As for the fire/water combo... I've got lots of air & fire, a decent amount of water, but very little earth (I think only 1 planet in an earth sign). Perhaps that's why I have trouble staying "grounded" - I get really passionate and intense about something for awhile, and then change my mind, and then go back to it, etc.

I really should get their charts done and see what else is in there. DS is hard because they forgot to record his time of birth during the chaos, so it is kind of guesstimated due to the whole near death thing. I don't know if his chart can ever be 100% accurate.

My mom is a Virgo, but thankfully she has Aquarius rising or she might have had some trouble dealing with me! I believe I taught her to be more laid back and spontaneous about life, and she taught me to be obsessive-compulsive and perfectionist. I think now SHE is the more laid back person and she's 63! Could be some of my other planets that contribute to me wanting to over-analyze and plan *almost* everything, though. My grandma was a Libra and she and I did NOT NOT NOT get along. Grandpa's birthday was just two days after mine, though, so most of the time we got along great, but we were both soooo stubborn.

Yeah, natal charts are great! Actually there is a website (can't think of it offhand) where you can get a free natal chart done, and it is pretty accurate. Also some software out there. My mom had my natal chart done when I was 3 - paid someone to interpret it. I have the hand-written chart, still, but we can't find the audio tape where he made predictions. It may cost more to have someone do your chart as opposed to the computer, but will possibly be more accurate.

As for the time of birth - that will definitely matter for *some* planets, but not others. Some of the planets are based on generational aspects (several years or even decades), and others on actual time. You can get at least *some* accurate info about your DS, if not all of it.

Why is everyone picking on aries? I'm an aries :
Actually, I don't think I have the personality of an aries. I'm not confident, I'm not impatient, and I'm not much of a motivated/go getter type person.

In answer to the OPs question, I would not skip a month of trying because all the signs have positive and negative qualities. And, as far as I'm concerned, the birth month doesn't guarantee the personality of the baby. And if it did, then I still wouldn't skip over ones I don't like, because you may surprise yourself, and that baby's personality may be just what you need (like a pp who said that the baby could teach you in areas you are lacking). Anyway, I'm not sure if I've made any sense, but that's how I feel.

And don't hate aries, some of us are very lovely people .

Well, there's no doubt our kids are supposed to teach us to be less rigid. Some days it makes me nuts, but there are other times all I can do is laugh. After one experience with an Aquarius I vowed to avoid them at all costs, and was so relieved when DS's bio dad was a Capricorn. Then I find out the exact date of his birthday and it's on the cusp. And I get pregnant the second (and last) time I sleep with him! The cosmic joke has been on me ever since.

DS was due directly in the middle of Cancer so that seemed a sure thing...and then he was born more than 2 weeks post dates...and at the beginning of Leo! he had his own idea of himself and who was I to make him come sooner?

I always tell DS he must have really wanted to be born. All those years I couldn't have kids, or was with someone who wanted kids...and he just decided to show up at the right time to change my life. I guess he just knew it was time.

Dh and I are nearly perfect opposites in temperament, but we have similar likes, so it works. I think where people can't get along is where they have opposites in both temperament and likes, yk?

I love Aries! You guys entertain me to no end - I'm Gemini with Aries rising and have always gotten along GREAT with Aries... I also love Libras, who always end up being excellent friends... I'm married to an Aquarius with is supposed to be rather complicated, but I like it... keeps things interesting!

Yup. My parents are Gemini/Aries.
