I like the prefolds for a newborn. There. I said it. LOL!

...Hey mamas! I'm still working out this nak business, but wanted to let you know that Zachary Seth was born on 5/31 at 12:24 am at 8 lbs 12 oz and 21 1/2 inches long and cd'ing has been just fine with him. I actually like pf's in a wrap for ease of use (premie snappi or infant trifold). I haven't even fooled much with fitteds which is shocking to me but they've been fine too. The proraps work great. Absorbency is not much of issue yet b/c he poos each feeding. There is so much I haven't even tried on him yet. Will get up pics when I can. Take care, mamas!

And that's great to hear about the prefolds. That's what I'm thinking of doing for our next one. I didn't diaper my current ds as a newborn so I'll have to start fresh with the itty bitty stuff, and my babies grow fast...

Our babies were born only a few days apart! If I weren't so prefold challenged, we would be using them more. I did use the one preemie we have though! She pees through it in a hearbeat, so I gave up on it. :LOL

Congratulations to you! I know you were quite ready for that baby to come out! My baby boy was born May 29th and we've been using mainly prefolds as well. I find I like my newborn litewraps well even though at first they looked huge. But once I put them on ds (born 8 lbs 3 oz), they fit quite nicely. I have a couple newborn proraps too that are nice.

I think the infant tri-folded is so bulky, though easy. I started snappy-ing more today and am loving it. A snappied prefold looks so cute! But I did break down and buy 7 kissaluvs which have been nice.

But my all time favorite is the tootsweet wool cover. OMG, I am in love! NEED MORE WOOL!!!!!
