I usually just make hamburger buns with half of the bread dough, and they turn out fine. Just shape into a ball and let rise, then bake for a shorter time than the bread does.<br>

Are you using a sourdough starter or yeast?<br>
I don't have that <b>one perfect</b> recipe that I'm faithful too, yet. I don't have a sourdough starter going anymore, so lately I've just done 3 rises on a regular yeast bread recipe. 2 in the bowl, and 1 after you shape. That way you get more vitamins released.<br>

and it was good. I think the secret is in the kneading for the right amount of time, and getting the liquid ratio right.
