Whoohoo! Lost the plug!!!!

974 Views 12 Replies 10 Participants Last post by  majazama
Just before dinner tonight, I did my hourly bathroom stop and I LOST THE PLUG!!! (either that or a 7in long chunk of mucus decided to form!) And there was some blood with it!
Sorry if TMI but I never saw the plug with Goo!

I hope this means the active stage of labor is soon!!!! (i know, this could still take time, but the cervix is definately dilating more!!!!)

Congrats!!!! Keep us posted on your progress.
Congrats! My friend lost her plug last Sunday and had her babe Wednesday night FWIW! :)

Personally, I went two more weeks after losing mine with DD - LOL!
Hope it's soon for you to be holding your babe in your arms

I went two add'l weeks with #1 and never noticed it with #2. Hoping you will have different results!
Wow, 7 inches?!? I just got bits the first time around, but unmistakable nonetheless. Hope you get better results than I did {lost it four weeks prior to induction}.
You're getting so close!

I lost mine yesterday and have been losing more in incriments throughout today! I had a trickle down my leg this morning, but nothing since...As of Wednesday I was almost 5 cm and 100% effaced...I hope it happens soon...I am so tired of carring this baby...I want to hold her!! Good luck to you!!

Yes, I am new to this site...stumbled on it the other day! Not quite 5 cm...was there this morning but it was a false alarm...I am due July 5th. they said they would induce me if I havent had her by Monday or Tuesday...that is if I dont go naturally on my own.
Thanks for the welcome!

lacey~hopefully mother nature will take her course, as being induced is VERY painful, from what I've seen and heard, so you would most likely end up with an epidural, and all the complications that can go along with that. Good Luck!!!
