You sound so much like I felt after dd was born. It took me 4 months to hit rock-bottom enough to ask for help. I didn't have to suffer for those months, and neither do you. Please talk to your DP and a trusted health care provider. I know that for me, part of the delay in getting treatment was that I just didn't have the energy to seek help for myself, and I didn't have any faith that I could ever feel better. You may want to just leave this thread on your computer screen and ask your DP to read it, and ask him to start the ball rolling with getting help.<br><br>
You are not a bad mommy because of feeling this way, just like a mom with two broken arms isn't a bad mommy because she can't pick up her baby. There are physical reasons for your condition. This is not a failing on your part!
