Who's near Augusta?

I'm here! I just moved to Grovetown too but from Chicago. I have a five year old, three year old, and 1 year old. I would love to meet some people.

Sounds like you'd find some like-minded mamas at our Peaceful Parenting group. It's an unofficial attachment parenting group. We have weekly playdates and a monthly potluck (in the evenings so DH's can come.)

There's also La Leche League, Birth Network . . . check out the "BABE Directory" in the free Natural Awakenings (is that the name of it?) paper.

I'll have to look up Peaceful Parenting, though. Hadn't heard of that one. And I don't know where that paper is... Is it distributed someplace in particular?

i don't live there but i'm in there area fairly reguarly since my dad lives in thomson.

i went to the babe film festival last summer and they had a good turnout so i would definately recomend getting involved w/ them.

I am in Grovetown too!!! DH was born and raised in Augusta and we just moved back here about two years ago. I have a two year old DS. I would love to go to Peaceful Parenting, I hadn't really heard of that one either. Prob, will be working though. I will look up the schedule. Don't know if you are interested in a church.
