We cloth diaper DD and I can't wait to get some little NB size dipes! We used sposies with DD for the first 2 months but with this one, i am going to do cloth from day 1. Heck, I am washing dipes anyways.. may as well do it up!

I am hooked on haute pockets OS, the old style. I think I am going to sell off all my others to fund my HP addiction! I am sure you will understand, there is something very satisfying about washing dipes.

We will use cloth with this one as well. But, we use BG 2.0 and 3.0 and I don't think I will have enough for a 20 month old and newborn without every day dipe washing. I am considering making some fitted and using some covers as well.

I cd'd with my son after 6 months, so I am looking forward to clothing diapering from day one with this new little one. I'm thinking I'll probably go with fitteds and different covers. I'll probably try a variety, though, to see what works best with a newborn. This time around, I have a partner, and he seems a little hesitant about using cloth, but I think I have him mostly sold on the idea -- we'll see when it comes to everyday use! My in-laws will be different story, though.

I didn't start Cd'ing DS until he was 5 months. So my stash is mainly medium FuzziBunz, a few BG 2.0, a couple of Knicker Nappies and just a couple of small FBs. I want to CD from birth with the new baby, but I just know that the small FBs will be too big so I will probably need to try (for the first time) prefolds and covers. If we end up having a girl, I will definately want to add some girlie colored dipes to our stash, so I am sort of in a pickle about whether to buy covers now in neutral colors or wait until the birth and just use sposies for a week or two until I can get some covers.

I started cloth diapering Carter when he was 11 months old. Our old house's septic system was overburdened, but the new one's can handle it. We only have "big" diapers!

I am excited to cloth diaper from birth! And I can't wait to but itty bitty new born dipes! Well before the new baby arrives, I should have my clothsline up, I am so excited.

I want to, but don't really know where to start (there is a lot of overwhelming information out there). I think I just have to dive into it.

We also don't have a laundry sink. Our washer/dryer is a small combo unit in our bathroom, can it still work?

We will use cloth. Used cloth with first 2 from first month on- the first time it took us a month to get the hang of it. The second time I planned to CD from the start but long story short I was in somebody else's house for the first month and they didn't want me to use their washer for that. This time I think there should be no reason not to from the start- as I cannot see any other big catastrophes happening. We use prefolds and covers. I have tried some other things but they hold the most and I don't see the point in spending money for "cute" diapers. They are super easy once you get the hang of them.

Alot of websites sell samplers- I ordered mine from I think Katie's Kisses. You can get some prefolds, fitteds, a couple of covers, some pockets... at least you can try a bunch of different ones so you can find what works for you. I love pockets. I do find that the newer style haute pockets have such a short rise- DD sleeps with her bum in the air and she leaks out the top with those. We reserve the old style with the higher rise for at night.

We used cloth with our first two and don't see any reason to do anything different this time! We used prefolds and covers with dd, a combo of prefolds/covers and BG 2.0s with ds and will go all BG with this one.

I did with #1 when she was almost a year and was hardcore, did it completely with #2, and by #3, I slacked off a lot . . .

I need support to do it again! Though I admit, one thing that made it easier with #1 and #2 is that they both went poo on the toilet (#1 by 14 months and #2 by 6 months). My 3rd would have NOTHING to do with the toilet. Nothing!!!!

I tried a million types of diapers, and found that I just love prefolds, nylon covers (though wool for looks!), and then later on at the toddler stage, Fuzzi Bunz.

RE: the clothesline-- I tried this but had such STIFF diapers. Yuck! How do you not have that?

I suppose I can post over here as well, since this baby will likely come in November, anyway.

I have never used CDs before, but my best friend switched to only CDs when her younger two came back to back and she did the math and figured there was no way in hell they could afford to put 'sposies on TWO babies.

So anyway, she has inspired me, and I plan to fully CD this babe. I am already saving $$ for a collection of BG 3.0s - admittedly I am completely inexperienced, but I have seen the BGs in use and I think I can figure them out on my own, lol. DP on the other hand, thinks I have lost my mind.
