I have 25 diapers now. I JUST got 6 new diapers in the mail today. Here it is, almost midnight and I am looking at MORE diapers. Why? Why why why? Don't I have enough? Dh informed me not an hour ago that I didn't need that cute diaper with the butterfly on the bum.
But I really really want to buy that diaper!!! ARGG!!! I should just buy it.
He would never notice the money missing. Of course he would at some point notice DD wearing a diaper with a butterfly on the bum. Hrmmm, what to do what to do.

It's an illness. The only known cure is potty learning.

My baby is 5 months old. I have a long long way to go.

I live in Northern Cali. Up by Clear Lake. (an hour east of the North Bay.)

Hey Sweets...as long as you can afford it and you are not mounding up credit card debt then go for it. I do the same thing. I pair down my stash every once in a while, I am just building it back up. If you like to just shop, shop and fairy.
I love giving things to other people. It's not about ME having it, it's about getting it and sharing it.

credit card debt=bad though LOL.

I'm mad at him right now though.

Grrrr. Men can be such jerks.

You know I have thought about it and I decided this. If dh asked me if he could buy something, and I told him I didn't really think he needed it and he bought it anyway, I would be irritated. Why did he ask me if he was going to do it anyway? On the other hand, if he just bought it without saying anything, (provided it wasn't a large purchase.) I could care less. So.. I think since this time he said no I should respect his wishes and next time I will just buy it without asking.

As far as CC debt goes. I am TRYING to pay off those stupid things and get rid of them. I only charge to them in emergencies. Like when I needed $400 worth of work done on my breaks and I only had $300. Other than that I don't use them because I want them GONE!!

My husband has not said much really about my diaper buying YET. If I had some stashes like some of these women have that I salivaite over......I don't know....He MIGHT say a little something. LOL.

ETA: HE knows you gotta keep Mamma happy....if Mamma ain't happy................LOL.
let's face it, it's FUN to buy cute diapers! My husband can't understand the need to have a large supply of them, but my point is....that's all the less I have to do laundry, so it's a water saver!!!!

- ITA. You have to respect each other otherwise you lose trust, and that's a horrid thing to lose from your spouse.

Yeppers.....

And really, it's just the consumerist in all of us.... if it weren't diapers it would be something else.

I used to be very addicted to rubber stamps. I would read my Stampin Up Catalog sooooo many times and dream of having that sweet rubber in my hands. Now, I have all the stamps I want, but I do the same thing with diapers....

And when it's not diapers, it'll be cute clothes or kitchen gadgets or who knows what.....
