Why do kids always seem to take a huge heinous dump RIGHT after you've just changed them into a fresh diaper? I'm talking not 5 minutes elapsed. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/irked.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="irked">: I swear it's like he thinks he has to have a clean diaper to crap in. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/hammer.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="hammer"><br><br>

Why do they always have the sudden urge to bury their face in my lap whenever I have just gotten dressed up and their nose is at its snottiest worst?

oh and why do they go months without getting any scrapes, bumps or bruises, then get several right before having to go for a check up at the dr.'s?

Or Boom! Boom! Boom! Get hurt 3 times in one week where you have to take them to the doc's! (Had this happen with my 10 year old just a few weeks ago!)

Or decide that the best time to pull out the fisher price corn popper push toy is right when you get on the phone with one of his therapists or doctors or long distance. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/wild.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="wild">

And why oh why does my daughter nap every day at noon, and never wants to sleep earlier than that, until the day I get brave and make some plans in the morning, and all of a sudden she's exhausted at 10 am?

Amen to all the ones already written. And . . .<br><br>
Why do they ask for ice cream right after they brush their teeth?<br><br>
Why are they so starving they just might not live 10 minutes before dinner is done? It doesn't matter what time dinner is - 10 minutes before it's done, they have to eat NOW!
