I'm just 1 little ol' month into cd and I love it! My question is why do so many people go to ebay? Do you really save $? Sears was having a sale one day on Kushies and thats how I got started! So, just wondering if I'm missing something.....

consummers it is a time thing. People's lifestyles are moving too fast and there is barely enough time to sleep let alone purchase items. So they use ebay because they can shop in the comfort of their own homes and not have to worry about braving the weather or having to pile all the children in the car and deal with them in a crowded mall. That is what I think anyway.

I don't really know too much about kooshies, but I'm sure that you got a great deal!

For diapers made by WAHM (work at home moms) s, there is no better way to find a deal (other than trading posts like we have here), on diapers, that I've found.

I'm also really impressed by the variety of diapers for sale on e-bay

In the US most of us can't go to Sears to find cloth diapers. I was really impressed to learn that in Canada, Sears and ToysRus carry Kushies.

So..we have to look other places. I loved ebay when I was first starting to use cloth b/c I could find auctions that had one of a few diferent diapers that I wanted to try. Plus it was much cheaper than buying them brand new.

Another great thing about ebay is when ppl accidently list things wrong, or don't know the worth of the diapers they are selling. You can find really great deals sometimes.

For instance... I got 6 like new ME sandy's for $16!
I think the lady meant to start the price off at $8, but instead she listed 3 diapers at BUY IT NOW for $8. She had 2 auctions like that and I snagged them both before it got changed. Then I turned around and sold them again on ebay for $36!

And that is why I love EBAY!!!!

Ahhh, I see.....
Sears is only 5 min from my house so I dont mind puttin on some undies and going there!
I ended up getting 5 aio, 18 flat, 7 velcro covers (they were soo cute..) 10 washable liners and 100 disposable liners for approx $150! Remember thats Canadian $, so like $10.95 US :LOL
I cant imagine not being able to find cd in a store. Wow. I feel very lucky today...

It's definitely partially about saving money for those who like to buy really nice cd's second-hand. For many though I think it's about being able to buy things not easily available locally.

For me places like ebay and the trading post have been a great way to try alot of different diapers without having to spend alot of money on them. I can get gently used diapers for a fraction of the cost, and if I really like them then I can order new ones at full price. It has been a great money saver and a great way to test things out before I buy.

Well, I just the other night scored 22 covers for $20....you tell me why I like ebay

Actually, ebay does get on my nerves, but if you know what you're looking for and what stuff costs brand new, then you can score some great deals from time to time and try out a bunch of stuff very inexpensively.

ditto, except I think some BRUs have Kushies and their own brand.
