background info. my almost 3yo has an entire medium stash of Fuzbaby Fitteds, contours and WIO covers. That's all we have for her, with the exception of some apron strings fleece pockets for night time. she has been diaper free not for almost 2mo, so these dipes are NOT being used. my baby has a couple size small fitteds and fuzbombs, but the fit is starting to get bad, ie. "wing droop". she is too small for the mediums, they fall right off of her.

here is my dilema.............. do keep the Fuz and pray that she grows into them with a good fit? or do i sell it all off? we have enough dipes for her, and it would be a year before she could wear the mediums anyway. so, i don't need to keep them for that reason. i was going to sell all of it and replace it with Luxe baby WIOs, but my DH said if i sell it all off i cannot buy new dipes to replace them.

why is this such a hard decision? other diapers i have had no trouble letting go of. why is it that i can't commit to getting rid of these? i go back and forth on like an hourly basis. yes, no, yes, no. they are friggin diapers!!!!! that's all they are. uggh i feel like an idiot for being so attached to them.

so, i'd like all of your opinions. do i keep them or sell them?

I say to heck with attatchment and DH! Sell them (to me) and get Luxe baby WIOs!!!

hehe

Seriously though, it is hard to get rid of dipes you love. I have a Lilybottoms AIO that just barely fits Rylie anymore and I can't bring myself to sell it because its just too pretty!

Well, she will fit in them eventually. If you really love them you should keep them. They may be irreplacable. Plus, once they do fit, the fit is so good. I say keep them. If you really want to sell, maybe start with just some. Sell half, keep half sort of thing. Good luck. I know it's not easy.

Well, seeing as how DH told you that you can't buy new dipes if you sell these off, seems to me it would make sense to keep them!
What a hard decision though - I can definitely sympathize. DS recently potty-learned and although I've sold some off, I'm still holding on to some of his dipes even though I am pretty sure DD will never wear them. It's so hard to part with nice fluff!

If you love them, keep them. You have another that can get use out of them, and as they sit waiting, you may decide that you dont really love them as much as you used to. Dont get rid of something thats causing this much torment. I have some diapers from Aislyn and William I wont sell, because they have memories, or I picked them out special to be made.

I have attachment issues , so I would keep them. Fuz is beautiful, expensive and some can be hard to find. They may fit her beautifully in a year and if the don't then you can sell them! They certainly won't have depreciated in value.

I would keep them since your dh won't let you buy other's if you do sell. What if they never fit her, will he eventually let you sell them for things that do fit?

the wing droop bothers you and it will be very easy to sell em. :

If you think they'll eventually fit - I'd say to keep them. Especially since DH says you can't buy any more. And Fuz is so hard to get that you may not be able to replace them later on.

i tried all of bella's dipes on xandra the other day, her small sandys, MEOS and medium tykie diapers. they all still fit xandra LOL :LOL so.................. that's why we don't really need them. bella is going to be the same size as xandra at almost three ( at least i think she will) and will most likely start pottying around the same time.

uggh, i just don't know what to do. they are gorgeous, but they are Diapers for heavens sake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i just tried one of the medium fitteds on bella, and i think in the next couple of months she might start to fit in it the small fuzbomb fits over the medium fitteds, but just barely. the medium WIOs are just way too big still. so, perhaps i will keep them for the time being. i have thought of send them to lori and having the snaps removed and aplix applied. maybe i'll do that.

thanks ladies, i think i will keep them for now. they fit xandra beautifully, but she was also almost 2 when we started buying fuz. perhaps they would have fit funky at 14 mo as well

ah................................. i feel so much better now thanks!!!

katie, all of lucy's hand me downs you know the 18- 24 mo and 2 T stuff? xandra is just wearing now LOL. she is mostly in 18-24 mo, but still can wear some 12 -18mo shorts. some 2T stuff fits, some is too big. bella is in 6-9 or 6-12 but can still wear some 3-6 mo stuff

xandra still wears medium fuz on the tightest snaps

If you can't replace them with new stuff, I say keep it. My DD fits in multiple sizes in some things so even though Bella may not outgrow the small stuff she may fit in the medium stuff too soon, maybe even a better fit with less wing droop? Also, at some point if you just get tired of looking at them, you can sell them then. It is funny how we get attached to diapers though isn't it?!? :
