On top of my already swollen feet and cankles - I got my first stretch marks today and all of the sudden my skin has been breaking out like crazy!!

I've had such great skin while pregnant and now suddenly I'm breaking out right and left. And the stretch marks?!? What, they couldn't wait a few weeks:. I made it so far w/o them and they're really low so I'm super self conscious when my belly pops out of shirts and skirts - which it of course does now because my entire internal cavity is occupied.

And on top of it I just want to be left alone.

I just hope that this means I'm getting close to labor. I'm totally grateful for the healthy pregnancy don't get me wrong but I can't help whining a little - why now??

my stretch marks - there are a lot of them - appeared all in one day during my 36th week. truly, it was out of nowhere!! they are very low on my stomach and now that i've dropped and am huge, most shirts eventually make their way up my belly before i've realized it. i have been calling them my stripes! they itch like mad lately.

With DS, the stretch marks came at 38 weeks and he was born at 39 weeks even. Just when you thought it was safe to look at the belly...

I was surprised to see new stretch marks last week. I figured that if I didn't get any new ones during my pregnancy with 10 lb DD that I would be good to go with this one but nope, a nasty little 34 week surprise.

At this point, I think I have so many that I would never notice new ones!
