Hi there! I am looking for a comfortable, leather-free, winter boot. I am notoriously clumsy, so I am worried about walking in the snow and ice. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi, Tracylee

I suggest posting in maybe the veg forum or maybe even TAO (Talk Amongst Ourselves) for this request.

I would think a store like REI may be a good place to start if you don't get any advice here. Good luck!

I was in Target yesterday and noticed they had a number of pretty sturdy-looking snow boots with no-slip soles, and as far as I could tell were leather-free (and inexpensive!).

They were definitely snow boots, not walking boots--I tried some on but I usually only wear mine for going on long walks, and they were too loose on me for that. But for sledding, taking out the trash, etc., they'd be great.
