My dd is 1 year old today!!!! OMG, I'm finding more to read in the toddler forum than the Life with a Babe!!!! Good grief, how did this happen?

Anyway, dd is just starting to stand without support, and has been cruising for a while. She is mostly barefoot, but LOVES her Robeez too. So any suggestions for winter and/or snow-friendly shoes for the colder months?

Thanks!

edited to add:
DD is sooooo cute -- when she sees her Robeez, she tries to put them on by pressing the shoe really firmly onto the top of her foot.

(i should note that we live in northern minnesota, so shoveling snow will *hopefully* be a daily activity for mom).

I love "soft star" mocassins for outside and we still use buskins (like robees) inside. "Shoes" is ds's favorite word--he loves putting on shoes and now understands we have inside shoes and outside shoes...

I found that Robeez were better winter shoes than you might think...if it's just a little wet, they do just fine...and if it's really messy or snowy, you'll probably be carrying her anyway, right?

I liked having one pair of more substantially soled shoes, but we still wore our Robeez a lot during the winter when dd was just over a year.
