Can you slide your babe to your back for back carry easily with one of these that has rings?

I ask because I HAVE to be able to slide ds to my back, and then back to my hip for errands as I always did with my non-adjustable pouch, but I love the idea of adjustable.

Oh thank you, K.

You can do this with any ring sling or hybrid, but it will feel a bit different than the pouch because of ring placement. If you just want to slide baby from hip to "rear hip" behind your arm for a few minutes so you can sign a check or stir dinner on the stove or whatever, it's fine and the rings will just end up way lower than they were. If you plan a back carry from the start, you can start with the rings behind your shoulder, use your arm to support the baby in the sling and pull all the slack around from the back, then slide baby around and tighten. This way the rings end up in the normal spot.
