Hey mamas...

Tomorrow (Tuesday the 14th) is the final trial in my case. All matters will be settled during this trial (final support, custody, and property orders), and my divorce will be finalized. Hopefully, by the time I read this thread again about 24 hours from now, I will be an officially divorced woman
. So far, it is looking very good for me. We were able to subpoena apartment rental and car lease agreements for my ex, and he is showing different employers and income levels on those documents than what he is providing to the court. He will, therefore, have zero credibility with the judge and is likely to have support imputed based on the highest dollar amount listed.

I'll fill you all in when I get back from court!

After waiting at the courthouse until 2:00pm today just to be called on the calendar, the judge ordered us back at 9:30am tomorrow. He apologized for the full case load today and promised he would call the first witness at 9:30am sharp. This means that I wasted a whole day that I could have spent with my kids (and paid my babysitter for seven useless hours!), and will miss a day of work tomorrow. Ah well.... I did finish the latest Patricia Cornwell thriller while sitting outside the courtroom waiting to be called, and one day of waiting won't break my spirit.

Will give another update tomorrow!

while I greatly envy you finishing PC's new book (I am waiting ofr it to come out in paperback!) I totally get the frustration that comes with having it dragged out longer. I am way too familuar with that issue. hope it goes smoothly for you tomorrow.
