Interviewing a homebirth midwife tomorrow. Hopefully dh will get totally onboard after meeting her.

Christa, my dh was not too thrilled at the idea of a homebirth but once he MET her, all he wanted was a homebirth. I'm sure your dh will be so impressed with the level of care she gives you that he will be supportive!

I second that. DH was on board, so to speak, but sort of indifferent. Yesterday after meeting the midwives he was really excited about it all!

I am happy (NO ECSTATIC) to report that dh is 100% on board with a homebirth after meeting with a homebirth midwife tonight!!! He didn't even freak about money after I told him I had about a 1/3 of the money saved, he thought $2,000 (give or take some) was worth my mental health & it took no convincing at all. He told me he knew how important it was to me.

I have never loved my dh more than I do right now! I also LOVED the midwife we met with & will probably use her. I am going to interiew a few more just to make sure she is the one, but there was great chemistry & we totally clicked.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!!!

Yay, wonderful news!

My dp was on board before we met with the midwife, but was like 10000% on board and excited about it afterward. So glad that trend continued with you guys.
