When I wasnt working (up until Maxi was 13 months) I never dressed him at home, epecially in summer. He just wore a diaper and if we went out I just added a shirt that coordinated with whatever dipe he had on. Now that I am back at work and he is in preschool he wears wonderoos and while they are cute they are not *too cute to cover up*. But the min we get home off come the clothes and on go the wool soakers!!!!

Yep, ds is usually in a dipe and t-shirt.
It's kind of nice that he's a boy because I don't feel quite the pressure to make sure he always matches! :LOL But I love having him in just a dipe or dipe/cover, hoping someone will notice (but no one ever seems to ... ).

I don't cover them either! Especially here in the hot south, they are always in just a dipe and a tee. When we go out I put a cute cover on or wool soaker. Heck, most of the time around the house I don't even bother with a tee. DH calls them our little ******* kids. :LOL

Yep - another mama here who never dressed her kids! :LOL
Isabella has tons of cute little dress/blommer sets - I just never use the bloomers on her - she literally has a drawer full of them, because or course I would rather her diaper show!

And even though Harrison is now potty trained, he still likes to wander around in a t-shirt and his underwear - a holdover from when he would be in his diaper and a t! My grandmother thinks it's scandalous that I let him run around the house that way!

Well, we live in a basement apartment and the people upstairs control the temp.
It is 94 degrees out today and baby is in a diaper, longies, a t-shirt and sweatshirt. That is pretty much standard wear year round when the kids are little. Now, when we go outside I strip him down to just a dipe and t-shirt, sometimes a pair of soaker shorts.

I don't usually dress the kiddos other than a t-shirt and diaper, unless we are going out. And even then, Brodie is often still in just a t-shirt and diaper. I love to show their cd bums off!

Around the house my 2 yr old is either just in a dipe or lately - naked (she's pottylearning.. sniff sniff) and the baby is just in a dipe. I do dress them when we go out. I will probably stop putting pants on the baby as it gets hotter (but this week has been cool) but I think DD should wear clothes. I only wish I had more tshirts instead of onesies so I can really show off that bum.

Jack only wears a lot of t-shirts and shows off his diaper butt. I did the same thing with Tori. She wore lots of cute shirts and swingtops.

I love a baby in just a cute shirt and diaper/cover or AIO. Okay I'm a little wierd that I usually try to "match" the shirt with the diapers.

I can't even get my potty trained boy to wear underwear half the time. Everytime I turn around he has stripped his undies off. He does keep his clothes on when we're in public thank goodness.

My son does this too at home.
Now if we're out in our driveway or yard and he's convinces himself that he's going in the pool he tries to strip right where hes standing. He thinks its a really big tub.

I was thinking the same thing as the original poster. I am glad to see lots of mammas here who dress the kids in shirts & dipes. I always think it is such a waste when I see a cute dress that is sold with a matching bloomer. I would just prefer to have my child's cute diaper showing instead of covering it with the bloomers. I haven't yet had a chance to CD a child so I guess I will see how it goes. Winter time sort of has me worried because I know I will feel so sad to not be able to show off DD's cute diapers when she is wearing pants or tights. Maybe I need to get lots of wool longies? I wish I had unlimited funds to have enough longies for everyday wear.
