I don't usually drink anything with caffine, and have more or less cut it out. But this morning, a co-worker bought me a large coffee. And then later in the day, they brought in lunch. I had a medium McDonald's Coke.

My heart is racing!! I'm not used to this, and it feels weird and crappy!

Any way to speed up the process of...making it stop? Would drinking water help? Ahhh. I don't like this.

I drink a lot of coffee but on the rare times I drink too much I have to eat something and drink some water. It doesn't help much but it does a little.

I agree with eating and drinking water. The more water you drink the more caffeine you will flush out.

I wish something green would help but it seems to start some sort of weird pharmacological warfare in my system. I try to eat something heavy and drink water but still, my body doesn't handle caffeine well

Eating always helps when I get too much caffeine, too.

OP, I usually eat if I can. Avoid sugar because it adds to the chaos.
Often, I just wait it out.

ahh yes, the buzzed high. It's hard to believe at this point in my life that once upon a time I paid money to get that way. a lot. lol!
I can't handle a lot of caffeine, now-when I get jittery I go for the protein and some water. cheese, meat. That sort of thing helps.

I get this sometimes.

First and foremost eat a very solid meal
Lots of water and vitamin C (to help flush your liver and process it)
Exercise - You've got to work that energy out!

I hope you feel better soon. I have seriously had caffine OD's before drinking Wolf's where my ears were ringing. s

I want to add a funny story. My cousin had never heard of "shots" before wrt espresso. She would usually just order a certain size of mocha. She was still pretty young. She was asked how many shots she wanted. She had NO idea what was a normal amount. She said, "I don't know. Six, I guess?" She said she was basically going crazy at work. Quite efficient she was that day. I think that would've killed me, personally.
