I want to get a Wok. Suggestions? I was told to stay away from non-stick. Is there something like chinese cast iron?
The other problem I have is I have an electric stove (we are renting...but I prefer gas stoves). So I thought I read I would need a flat bottom wok instead of a round bottom.
I bought my rolled, hand-forged wok from a restaurant supply store for $15 with a ring and use it on my grill for high heat. An electric stove will probably not get hot enough to properly use a wok.
