I know that Wonderoos are one sized while FBs run from preemie to XL. But what I'm interested in learning is what do you thing of the suede vs. the fleece inner? I've never felt or seen one, so I've always been curious. Also, what's the PUL like? I find HH to be thicker than an FB. Is the Wonderoos PUL the same or different than an FB?

I prefer the fleece myself. It feels softer to me and my baby's poo doesn't stick to the fleece as badly so it is thus easier for me to rinse off.<br><br>
I really think I prefer fuzzi bunz over all seeing as at the moment they fit my baby much better! I find the fuzzi bunz much easier to stuff too.<br><br>
And forgive my newbieness but what do you mean by PUL?

We used FBs for months, and never had a stain problem. Then I bought my first Wonderoo, and the suedecloth got stained within a few weeks. I haven't been able to get it off yet. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/greensad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="greensad"><br><br>
The fleece just feels nicer to me, too.

I love my Wonderoos and never ever have had a staining problem. They look brand new still... the suedecloth holds up better than the fleece in that regard, I think

I only had one wonderoo when my child was between a medium and a large FB. I didn't like it. I WANTED to love it but I just didn't. It was WIDE through the crotch, the rise seemed too short, and my daughter, even though she was on the smallest setting of a large FB (really that was still too big for her), was on the last setting of the wonderoo. I think it is okay for the small and medium size coverage, but I just don't see how it could be a one-size. I also hated teh double elastic across the back (elastic in the PUL and elastic in the suedecloth).. it made it too tight across her back. I don't see any need for elastic in both places.. more problem than solution IMO.<br><br>
Course, I only had the one.. so mine could have been "off" or they could have made changes since then.

I personally prefer wonderoos. I like the way the suedecloth doesn't pill, (I despise when FBs get all pilly after a couple months) and I like the fit better than FBs, but my DD has a very low rise. She is between sizes on fuzzibunz, too, so that's another reason I prefer the the wonderoos. FB seem to be more poofy on her, while the WRs have a good trim fit.

PUL=polyurethane (sp?) lining. It's the outer material of the pocket that keeps baby's clothes from getting wet.<br><br>
I love my FBs, but never having tried a wonderoo, I've always wondered if there was something I'm missing.

I like having different sizes. Someone here though showed a picture of their newborn laying beside their big sister and they were both wearing wonderoos... and it look pretty honest in the one size fits most theory. I think wonderoos would be best suited for the more petite child or if you didn't need to stuff it with much as they got older.<br><br>
I prefer fleece to suedecloth but as time goes on I care more about the fit than the lining so long as it is stay dry. All my FB are like a million years old. I think they got new fleece so I couldn't comment on whether it is pilly. I found the old ones NOT to be pilly imho.<br><br>
About the PUL. Last wonderoo I saw looked like it had the same PUL that most wahms use (fabrite) where FB felt to have a different kind of PUL. But I am NOT an expert on that. anyone else know?

I like wonderoos better than fb but the only problem with them is that they got too small for my two year old while the fb's still fit him very very well! But before then, wonderoos were the better of the two. Just want to add that now I prefer HH much more than FB! It's all because of the fit... FB never fit so well for my baby...

I like Wonderoos better. I've been using mine for over a year now and they have no stains and very little pilling. I never tried a FB until dd was into a size L but they don't fit her that well. Although the Wonderoos do say up to 35 lbs and I don't see them fitting my dd even close to that long.

I like the Wonderoo but my Fav's are FB <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngbiggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="orange big grin"> . The FB's are just easier to put on and give an overall better trimmer fit, but they do cost more because of all the sizes. I like the white fleece even though it does slightly thin over time. The fleece is very soft <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"><br>
What I like about Wonderoos is the suedecloth. It looks always looks like new. What I don't like is the double elastic (always leaves big red marks on DD) and the print Wonderoos leak. The print Wonderoo is laminated cotton. But, Roos do cost less and the PUL ones don't leak. Both have good resale value.

I had a bunch of wonderoos, loved them but sadly, they aren't REALLY one size fits all. DS outgrew them before he turned 1. He's not huge or anything - he's now about 26 lbs (16 mo).<br><br>
That being said I LOVE our FBs. He still squeezes (barely) into his mediums but is really in larges. I had a few slight staining issues with the wonderoos, never had any with FBs. And the FBs do seem to fit trimmer.<br><br>
While I loved the wonderoo prints (and wish FBs came in prints), I would absolutely buy FBs over wonderoos.<br><br>

I like both for different reasons...<br><br>
The FBs were my first, are the softest, and he hasn't ever gotten a rash in one (the whole reason we initally went to cloth- there was rarely a day before FBs that he didn't have a rash). I HATE the pilling on the fleece, and I picked it off forever until I gave up. The poop seems to stick to these a lot, but they never ever stain. The size fits better, but I started with 18 FBs 18 months ago, and I'm down to 11. I really thought after paying as much as I did for them, they'd make it to the next kid... but I don't think so. I follow the washing instructions and never bleached- but I also had to return several in the beginning because of sewing issues. They are too old to return now for fixes.<br><br>
Wonderoos hold up and look soooo much nicer than FBs, but they are very wide in the crotch (I like to use prefolds with them instead of inserts because it covers the area a little better- I tried a Joey but it floated all over the place). They do get stained and I can't get it out. I know it shouldn't matter that they are stained and that is what they are used for, but it is so much easier for me to use pretty cloth than not. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/wink1.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="wink1"> I will be sun bleaching them this week, and that seems to work so far. I would say that Wonderoos fit just a tiny bit longer than a medium FB. The rise is low, and we will have to give them up sooner than I'd hoped. Jack does get an occasional rash in the Wonderoos, but it's during the long hauls or car rides when I can't blame the diaper so much. I agree that the double elastic in the back leaves marks and is a little much... I LOVE that if we are out changing diapers in public, the Wonderoos snap together in a little ball until I can get them home to clean them.<br><br>
Both are great diapers- I tried to go to fitteds and covers, but I just couldn't turn my stash as we always reach for the easiest ones, and that happens to be pul pockets. I'm sad- I need more!

I use Wonderoos and I just have to say that as far as sizing goes I use them on my 7 month old twins (who are 15 & 17 lbs) and my 2 year old (who is 34 lbs). And there is still room for my two year old to grow more, so they really are one size fits all.<br>
I have not had any staining at all on the suedecloth and my kiddos have some pretty yucky poop! :LOL

I like my FB much better than the wonderoos. My main concern is the elastic. DS is pretty chubby and the WR leave lines around his thighs and back. They are also more of a pain to stuff. DS is in lg FB, smallest setting, but on the next to largest on the WR. The lining of he WR is nice, though I have noticed some staining. I'd trade my wonderoos for FB any day, well I'd also trade the HH or the LL for that matter.

I prefer wonderoos. I love the suede better than the fleece, and I love the elastic that the wonderoos have on the back (FB don't have that) and all-around I think they are better.

I like my FBs better. I only had one 'roo, but my guy grew out of it by the time he was 22lbs. Also, because he's a forceful pee'er, the suedecloth did not allow the liquid through as quickly as fleece so some of it leaked out the sides of the diaper.
