I just found a local photographer who does gorgeous b&w portraits for a very reasonable price. I'm so excited. I emailed her and she's got lots of availability as these are her slow months. I'm 30 weeks now. Should I do them soon or wait until I'm 34-36 weeks prego?

I'm a photographer. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"> If it was me, I would book at 32-34 weeks.<br>
If this is your first, maybe even 36-38.<br><br>
ETA: ok, I see you had your older dd in 04. If she was on time or late, I'd do 36 weeks.

DD #1 was born at 38 weeks (11 days early). Still think I'd be o.k. in the 34-36 week range? I think I can get in earlier. Just curious, why do you like the 32-34 week range?

What are you wearing to the shoot?

Awesome! I am having mine done next Wednesday. I'll be 32 weeks. I don't want to wait until I'm big and uncomfortable. I think I still look good right now. If I wait until the end, I'm afraid I'll look like a balloon that's ready to pop. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"><br><br>
I'm planning on doing b&w as well. I want to wear jeans and a white button up. I may dig out a pair of my old jeans and wear them unbuttoned. I haven't decided yet. I will probably change at least once for the shoot.

I'm having them done too...but DEFINATELY waiting until I'm bigger. When that will be vairies for everyone, of course. Front on I don't even look pregnant, but from the side, WOAH! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol">

The bigger the better. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"> I usually book for the 32-34 week if they went early the first time (or if it's more than one) to make sure they get the photos done.<br>
I think you'd be good doing 36 week. I got mine done when I was 32 weeks with triplets. I wish I'd waited until 34, but everyone was urging me to get them done sooner because they all thought I was going to have the babies really soon.

Have fun! I had professional pics done with my first and I treasure them. I had mine done at 37 weeks which was good because he was born a week later. You can see mine by clicking the link in my signature.

Good for you! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/thumb.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="thumbs up"><br><br>
I'm a photog too... I actually only use film!<br><br>
I did these shots for my friend and sister in law, so I will be doing my own this time around. I'll set up the shots, adjust the settings, and get DH to push the button. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"><br><br>
I'm waiting until about 35 weeks. I just need to find a screen to hold up my black and satin back-drops.<br><br>
Trin.
