Does anyone know how much wood goes for? We live in Vermont right now, and when we move we want to take our woodstove, because we LOVE it. But we also want to make sure it'll be cost effective to use it. We usually go through about a cord a winter here with it, and I use it non stop.

Chances are bringing your wood stove to CO would be pointless...most areas have a ban on new wood burning instillations. We have a grandfathered in wood stove, a Vermont Castings and we go through 3-4 cords a winter. Its mostly pine around here which burn much faster than hard wood. It costs about $180 per cord sometimes less...it sort of follows the gas prices!
