I'm a total EC newbie. I heard of it during my pregnancy and, reading a few threads on the topic here, I decided to try. So I've been trying to learn my newborn's signals and cueing her for the past week. Today, I finally tried to "catch" her. I had two successes and I'm very excited. My 2.5 dd is still in diapers and taking her time getting interested in the potty. I'll be glad not to deal with that this time <I hope>
I'd like to add my own whoo-hoo, if I may. Ds has just in the past week started to try to pee every time I make the cueing sound, instead of me just catching pees whenever I can. He understands! We're communicating! Yeehaw! Also we have gone on a few outings with dry diapers, very exciting. It's so miraculous!
Maybe we could make this thread (or another) a joyous EC events thread. I often want to cheer when ds and I accomplish new milestones.

good idea and congratulations!
i have a woo-hoo event myself. okay, after about 3 weeks to a month of EC, yesterday i had a perfect game! no misses! well just one actually, but i caught it half way through so half of it went into the potty.
im still not sure if my son responds to cueing or not. how old is your baby?
ds is 6 months old now, and ec'd from approx 4 months, sorry, no punctuation, holding the little squirmer.
you had a miss free day, that's awesome!
we played a board game with another family last week and had a dry diaper the entire time
