We are getting rid of our entertainment center!

It's a big beast of a thing that I LOVED when we bought it and I still don't hate it but it's been a source of a lot of clutter for the past few years. And as of tomorrow it's going to be gone. The most precious of nic-nacks that were on there will be kept and displayed on shelves when we move and everything else will get chucked or re-purposed. Our TV is going on our coffee table, for which I am going to make a fabulous runner from pretty bright fabric that I found on sale!

I've already organized the candles, wrapping paper, craft stuff into bins and gotten the DVDs into a binder. Yay simplifying!

Good for you! I remember how good it felt when we got rid of ours as well. It's amazing how much that opens up a room!

Well now it's gone and I feel like a dork because I kind of miss it.

But I think that's mostly that I don't like change.

we got rid of ours about a month ago. It is stillin the garage, waiting to go on craigslist. The tv and stereo went too, because we can do it all on the computer. It freed up so much space and we were able to totally reinvent our living room
