I am due with my second baby in late April/early May. This will be my first cd'd baby so I'm trying to build up my stash. I already have several wool covers, but I'm wondering if the soakers will be too warm for summer?
Hi! I live in So. Arizona where summer highs are well over 100 degrees. We used wool soakers and shorts all summer. My son's skin actually stayed cooler than it does in PUL covers. We had no problems and no rashes of any kind and he seemed very comfortable. Many people seem to think at first that wool is only for cold climates (myself included) but because it is breathable it is actually the perfect fiber for warm climates!
