I know there has been some discussion of this of late on this board and I am wondering if wool fabric yardage from some diaper making store would work? Would/should I use wool jersey or flannel or what?

We are going on vacation and my almost 4 year old isn't completly night time PTed yet and I am thinking that it might happen more in unfamiliar territory. So I am thinking of taking a wool pad to put under her sheet for the same reason her sister sleeps in wool. Es[ecially as there are w/d in the building, but not in our apt.

Still looking for a wool blanket at thrift stores, but time is running out and no luck yet.......

I did this for my ds's bed. What i ended up getting was a wool cashmere blend that is coatweight off of ebay 6 yards for 30 dollars shipped. It's pretty thick and kinda scratcy but I works like a charm. I would go for more of a thick weight like flannel or coatweight. I am racking my brain but it's just not functioning properly today but I know of a website that sells wool matress covers I will look and post it when ever i can think again.
