What does it mean if the wool if felted? I was under the impression it wasn't such a good thing, and then a saw a LANA soaker that had felted wool. Color me confused.

P.S. How are those LANA soakers? Trim? I thought about venturing into wool.
Thanks!

Felted means fuzzy and tight, LOL, or at least that is the easiest way to explain it, LOL. Felted is a good thing if that is what you want. If you want a stretchy cover, felted is bad, but if you like the heavy covers felted is good. I like slightly felted wool jersey, I think it would be considered medium weight. It is still a bit stretchy, but not so much that I feel like I will brake it.

I also think that you want a felted cover for night so it doesnt sweat. But I dont know too much about explaining wool, I just know what I like.

If the wool is already felted when you buy the cover its fine. Its when you accidentally felt a cover in the dryer that it suck. I love the lana cover and want to get one

Lana soakers are VERY soft and cozy but they run small. I had a new large Lana but my son couldn't fit in it! It wouldn't even fit over a sposie! lol.

Hope that helps,
