Hi everyone, I am knitting some diaper covers for my new niece and I am wondering which kind you all like best? I want to make her some that will fit over diapers nicely and since I don't have a LO of my own I am not quite sure what style to make. I have made one wrap-style from a pattern on the yahoo diaper cover knitting group, started another from my own pattern, and am working on a Warm Heart Woolies wrap. She is using Motherease fitteds I believe. Will this type of diaper cover work with them or should I be making the pull on kind? My mother in law thought the wraps would be better in case of messy diapers (not having to pull them down the legs I suppose) but I really don't know and don't have any babies to try these on <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/innocent.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="shy">. Any tips are greatly appreciated!

I don't know anything about the diapers you mentioned. But I love both ImseVimse bumpy wool wrap and the Stacinator day/night.....the Imse Vimse has more protection (or did until I felted the Stacinator on accident). A lot of people use wool pull on soakers for night time only when kiddos are less likely to poop.....I love the aristocrats. all mentioned fit over a Crickett's and a prefold with doubler.

That's my opinion - yes - but there's a gazillion different ways to do it out there!!! (as many ways as mommas!)
