Woolite bad??

Ok so I am a newbie here and am unsure what I am doing. I bought an Aristocrat not too long ago and need to wash it in a few days. Is woolite a complete no no? I am going to order some WOW online, but until then I would like to wash. Thanks!

Woolite is not bad but it will strip the lanolin and you will have to lanolize after washing. A lot of people wash their wool covers with a bit of baby shampoo.
