I have no experience with the company, but they look quite cute. The only thing you have to be careful about with covers made from recycled sweaters is that the labels on the sweaters are not always accurate. A sweater they use may be labeled 100% wool, but it may be superwash wool, which doesn't work well for covers, or it could be part cotton, etc.

My experience in combination with what I've heard is that it's kinda hit or miss. Some people get a great soaker they love, some people get one that is scratchy or not quite what they hoped for. You can send her a sweater to make the soaker out of, which would take some of the chance out of it.
