My experience is that, for the same stuff as the supermarket, TJ's is cheaper. If you buy their brands, especially. BUT, they also have a lot of gourmet and higher-end stuff, and that does get expensive. The chicken port pate I got today (body wants liver, taste buds think that's a silly idea) wasn't cheap. ;-) But Joe's O's are cheaper than Cheerios most of the time.

Trader Joes has these corn chips made with soy and flax seeds. Give you the salt and starch that helps (me at least) with m/s, but also a little hit of protein too.

Weird... around here, TJ's is always cheaper than WF for the same stuff. It's just they don't have all the stuff we need, so we end up going to WF anyway. ;-) Our TJ's grocery bill is typically half our WF one.
