I found out that my pups have worms, one has round worm and the othe has ring worm! What a mess! They are being treated right now for them and my question is, I am worried about my three year old, she touches them all the time, they lick her and they sleep in her stuff. I wash her hands constantly especially before she goes to bed because she sucks her thumb still. I am terrified that she can catch either one of them, and I remember distinctly that one of the worms can cause loss of eye sight! Please help, anything I should do? Should I get her tested? Should I put Vit. C for her, or what should I do. I am paranoid thinking I need to clean every single thing there is that the pups touch, especially the one pup with the worm on her leg and you can see it. I want to clean everything! But should I wait til the worms are gone? Please, any suggestions, thoughts would be MUCH appreciated!!

i read a book on parasites (I wish i could remember the name of it I think it was by hanna kroeger) anyway it said dogs carry parasites in their mouths (so the ol' dogs mouths are cleaner than humans is NOT true) I would not let your dogs ever lick her in the face and just be reasonable about cleanliness and hygeine (wash hands frequently and don't let them ly on the beds) or eat food off your plate (duh ). Goood luck-sounds frustrating
