I would like to go back to work, not only for finanacial reasons, but because I think it would be good for me and my kids.

I havent worked since 2002. I worked as a photo tech in a grocery store, then I went to school to get my office assistant/word processing and general bookkeepping certificates under the local business technology course at the college. I was 32 weeks preg with my first son when I finished. So, I havent worked in a long time, and I havent really applied my skills since I learned them.

Im working on my resume, I think its okay but Im unsure. Would someone take a look at it and let me know if it need improvement?

I am meeting the daycare people tomorrow to see if it works for us, but I dont have a job yet. The daycare starts in sept. Do I jobsearch now? I have a babysitter that I use in the summer so I can get away and actually job search and stuff..

Have you considered vounteering in the meantime? I know that for many moms that opens doors because you get more experince.

I thought they had great info on monster.com and they even have a section for how to tailor your resume if you've been out of the workforce for a while. Some of the services there you pay for, but they have a lot of free info.
