I'm thinking about buying some regular panties and sewing a folded gerber pfd in at the waistband in front and back. Has anyone tried this?

Well I tried just tucking a dipe into some undies, but it was a tight fit. Poop everywhere. All up his back. yuck. I'm still going to try it with some better fitting pants.

I think the lightweight elastic would be too weak, the fit not accomodating enough.

I once made "undies" out of prefolds, though, by sewing hip seams, cutting and edging legs, and putting elastic at tops.

IME Anything that pulls up and down will tend to be yucky for poohs as feet go through the legholes getting them off...

We almost never have poop misses. Jeff had diarrhea last week. I thought he was over it, but apparently he had one more ooky poo in him

I converted some pfds for Ben and we still have some, but they are very diapery, and I'm looking for something more pantsy.
