DS will be a yr in Dec., I would like to continue to bf, but only maybe in the morning and night. Will my supply go away if I do this? Will it end up just being comfort nursing or could I really still have some milk?

I currently work 3 days a week and I HATE pumping. I do not want to pump anymore.

TIA

I work 2 days a week. I'm gone from dd from 10 am until 4pm - missing at least 2 nursing sessions. I stopped pumping when dd was 14 months. She's fine without and my supply seems fine. She does insist on a marathon nursingsession in the car before we leave the sitter's house though, but this didn't start until we unseccessfully tried to night wean at 18 months. I'm not looking forward to nursing in the car in the winter time, but I defineltly don't miss pumping!

My oldest ds only nursed twice a day for a while and I definitely still had milk. Your body will usually just adjust to the new nursing style. If you seem to be losing your supply you can always try fenugreek supplements or Mother's Milk Tea to boost your supply.
