Ok I met another local mama on the message board for the play group in my area and we became aquantances(sp) She has a really cute little house that would suite my family. but here is the problem. SHe has caused so much trouble for me on the play group message board. She has issue with my AP lifestyle. She has made several people leave the play group because she did not like me defending my AP views...<br><br>
So now she has this little house up for sale and I would like to buy it. But would you buy a house from some one you dont like????<br><br><br>
It keeps my kids in the school district we want them in and the house just needs some piant to cover the existing paint and a bit of yard work...<br><br>
It is also in our price range...<br><br>
So HELP...<br><br><a href="http://www.homes-lawton.com/houses/houseview.php?MLS=76127060&category=0&price=2&bedrooms=-1&status=&page=2" target="_blank">link to the house details</a>

Hell, buy it and then smudge it before you move anything in. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/duck.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Duck">: <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/duck.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Duck">: <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/duck.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Duck">: Get all her bad vibe outta there....

I would buy from someone I don't like, but I wouldn't sell <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngtongue.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Stick Out Tongue"><br><br>
OTOH, since you'll be having to deal with this woman again (unless she's moving out of the area entirely..yay!), I would keep looking.

If you love the house go for it! Don't let her stand in your way <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"><br><br>
I'd probably worry that if she knew it was you making the offer.... but your agent can keep it anonymous and heck she might just want to sell it and doesn't care who the buyer is.<br><br>
good luck!!

Wow! That's a GREAT house and it's so cheap!!!!!!!!<br>
I would DEFINITELY buy it!<br><br>
I'd do a house blessing/cleansing before you move in. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngbiggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="orange big grin"><br><br>

Why not buy a house from somebody you don't like? More important is not to buy the house NEXT DOOR TO somebody you don't like! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"><br><br>
Sure, you have to deal with this unhappy person during the home buying stuff, but then she'll be gone and you can settle in and make it all yours.

yep, buy the house.<br><br>
if you don't want her to know it's you right away, don't use the same realtor she used to put it up for sale. find a different realtor from a different company. different company is key too. all the realtors in the same office may talk and tell your name to her realtor, etc. you'll all be together at closing, but you could also request a seperate closing so you wouldn't have to see her then either.<br><br>
good luck, hope you get the house that you want!
