DD is in a daycare on the campus where I teach. Next Monday, the classes that I teach will not meet (only seniors), so I technically don't have school that day. I thought it would be a great time to schedule a doctor's appt. I've been needing to make. I want to get other's opinions on this: do you think it's ok to drop DD off at daycare even though I technically have the day off? I was thinking that it was fine since I pay for daycare and she won't be going at a time that she doesn't normally go at, and I'd actually pick her up early. What do you think? TIA!

I'm a home daycare provider and used to use daycares for my oldest. Yes, absolutely, as long as the daycare is open, it is ok to use it! Ya gotta take care of your own health, too, for sure!

I think it is a good idea to keep the morning routine the same and do the early pickup, too.

I think that's totally fine. You already paid for that day, what you do doesn't really matter. I'm sure she will have more fun at daycare than at the doctor's office, and you can do something fun when you pick her up early.
