I recently wore my dd in a wrap on my back to a family gathering and my Aunt, in her thick and lovely french accent, said:

There's actually a great pic in Milk, Money, and Madness that took me a minute to comprehend! It's of exactly that, a woman with her breast over her shoulder and her child nursing. There's no way mine would do that, but it makes great sense when you're toting a child into the fields!

I was right. I can't really flip it over my shoulder, but I can flip it up to my shoulder, & got Esther latched on. She was kinda leaning on my shoulder, so maybe that doesn't count.

My dh and I were both in the front seats of the car once and dd wanted "jug juice" from the back. Dh said something like, "Can't you do something about that?" and I replied, "What would you like me to do, throw a boob over my shoulder and into the backseat?" Guess some women can do that!
