I can't believe that my sweet little girl turned 3 on April 20th. I am so proud/happy that she has nursed this long, and am eternally thankful for the information and support I've received on MDC. When I began this journey three years ago, I knew little to nothing about the benefits of extended breastfeeding. Today, I am a strong advocate who encourages mothers to nurse for as long as possible.

Many thanks to all of you who share your stories and wisdom on these boards. Reading your thoughts has made me feel a little less lonely and a little more understood.
