Today I hit 31 weeks. That means I have only 9 more weeks to prepare for this little one! (maybe less considering he's measuring so big and they have already mentioned a possible c-section...)

That is so crazy to me, coming out of the double digits for "weeks remaining until due date".

I have so much to do!!!

I was just thinking about this earlier today! It's getting crazy how close we are!! There are about 5 June mom's that have had their babies all ready! That is crazy!!

Tomorrow I will be 32 weeks!! 4 more weeks and I can have my home birth

However, I am totally unprepared for this baby to come! Maybe after the baby shower I will get motivated! lol.

@Limette- cross country move a month before? Whew. we moved 400 miles a month before I was due with ds to be closer to my family. I never busted my butt so hard in my life as I did those few weeks of total chaos! Hope you have a smooth move and a great transition at the new place! I always thought it would be better to move right before instead of right after birth!

Shhhh, don't ruin my delusion that I still have "plenty of time" to accomplish all I need to before this one gets here.

This pregnancy is charging forward at supersonic speed, it seems.

I hit 31 weeks yesterday (and have 39 week long pregnancies!) and moved cross-country this weekend. *Now* I'm ready to think about having a baby!

It is going really really fast! It feels like time goes by faster with each pregnancy. I'm 30 weeks - it's hard to believe there's only 2 months and some change left!

I'm totally not 'prepared', but am not worried about that at all. No names picked out, clothing...nothing. I just want to have a car seat before he gets here, but everything else feels like it can wait. It's such a different feeling from the first! Much more relaxed.

I'm ready to go into labor tho' and finally meet him

I keep thinking the same thing! Counting off the weeks until I'm good for my HB...

Feeling the same, I'm almost at 32 weeks and still feel totally unprepared. I have clothing, just ordered a car seat, still need to get diapers and a co-sleeper and bedding.

I'm about 30 weeks and have also thought about the weeks based on how long until it's a go for my HB. Although, then I remind myself of when my others came and how many weeks I probably really have. haha

Lol, it's totally a crazy last minute thing to do. We're moving about 3000km and will arrive about 3 weeks before my due date. The stress of buying and selling houses has been insane. Pregnancy has me really emotional about it all.

I'm leaving a homebirth with a midwife to a definite hospital birth with an ob
by moving but I honestly can't imagine moving with a newborn.

Luckily dh is going to take paternity leave so he'll be around to do most of the work!

I have 8 weeks left and that was feeling like forevvvvver in this heat until a coworker noted that I only have 8 weekends left, and for the last two I won't feel like doing anything, and then I remembered that I also have plans for two of the other weekends, so that means I really only have 4 weekends left to prepare everything! I woh full-time, so weekends are all I have, really. That put things into perspective, and I'm definitely pulling out the baby clothes to take inventory and get started washing this weekend.

But at least I'm not moving house. Those of you who are have my deep, deep sympathy.

Yup, I'll be 31 weeks this weekend and it's really starting to hit me how close that actually is. Mainly because it seemed like only yesterday I was 27 weeks and telling myself, "WOW! In three more weeks I'm going to hit 30 weeks, and then I'll only have 10 weeks left." That 30 week milestone came and went in a heartbeat and it seems every week is going by faster and faster. We're also pretty booked up lately. This weekend we're going out of town, the next weekend DP has a show, weekend after that we have plans with family, and then there's activities in late June and early July that we have planned. My head is spinning with just how fast it is all going to fly by and just how much more I need to get done!!! But I'm really excited for my homebirth and to meet this baby. AND TO NOT BE PREGNANT ANYMORE!!! So I'm embracing the speedy pregnancy.

Yep, really fast. I just started doing my bi weekly appointments with my midwife as opposed to the monthly ones during the early months.

Wow, such a big change for you and your family. At least you can nest before babe is born. Compared to making a nest, then having to move the nest and make another nest. Phew, makes my head spin. Would a doula be within your budget? I've had clients who hired me weeks prior to their due date. I hope your transition is a smooth one, keep us posted momma.

Yeah, going by sooooo fast.
~ We are still busily working on the addition to our house; which is halted each time my DH leaves for work (he works away from home for 2 weeks and is home for 2 weeks). So, with his schedule, we only have 4 weeks left before our babe is here to get what we need done. Wow! Fortunately, all I desire is to have our bedroom done (my nest), which is close to being done. The bathroom and new living room can wait, in my opinion. Just need the nest for our homebirth.
~ My baby shower is in about 3 weeks, so I'll have at least a month to fill in the gaps of what we'll be needing for the babe.
~ Strangely- since this is our first- I haven't felt urgent about getting all we need, been quite relaxed about it. The most important items we do need is a car seat, homebirth supply kit and diapers. Sound about right?

For those of you who are moving/have moved - WOW! i dont know how you do it. I've entered a tired/lazy/apathetic stage that I hope leaves me soon, and we're not going anywhere! Baby's room is still a mess and needs a major re-org and cleaning.

I have been having this feeling that I will go early. DH has it too. maybe it's wishful thinking to go 2-3 weeks early, but I just feel different all of a sudden. I'm only in wk 31, so I still want her to bake in there longer.. but even my face looks "pregnant" now, like the way my sister looked a few weeks before my niece was born. do you know that "look" I'm talking about?

so, I want to have everything done by like 36-37 weeks. I too WOH, so have mostly weekends to do things. At night after work I can barely cook a meal (oh wait, I havent. we've gone out to eat or had cereal for dinner for the past few weeks unless DH cooks. but that's another thread...)
DH is traveling for work every week from this Sunday till July 15. he will be home weekends and Wednesdays only (for our CB class) we have our "pre-babymoon" vacay scheduled for 6/17-6/22 so that weekend is out. this weekend I *think* is my shower, and we dont have anyplace ready to PUT all of the stuff if we do get it this weekend! baby's furniture might be delivered next weekend... again, where will it go?! I can't move things out of the room without DH and he's away starting this Sunday.

I guess the reason I'm venting all this is so I can just come to terms with reality- 6 weekends available at most. Then, figure out what REALLY needs to be done and what can either go away or wait.

again, I wonder how on earth you ladies that are moving are keeping it together!!

and limette, werent you just finishing up a kitchen/diningroom re-do in the winter? was it in preparation to sell, or is the move a spontaneous thing?!

Oo, thinking of it in how many weekends makes it scarier. I hit 30 weeks yesterday and that felt like a big milestone to me. I won't start bi-weekly appts until 32 weeks, but I'm seeing the chiropractor weekly now.

Now that it feels like summer here, the nice days always fly by, pregnant or not.

Must get sewing...

I hit 30 weeks on Wednesday. I keep thinking "10 weeks left" but my son came in the 36th week, so maybe I only have like 6, or 7. I think 10 is probab;ly going too far. I'm ready for this baby in that I have the stuff, but I'm not ready mentally.

We had our hospital tour today - very informative. The birthing rooms are super nice and we get to stay in them for our entire visit. We parked on the far side of the campus from where we were supposed to be - my hips were screaming at me by the time we got to the right area. But better now than when I'm in labor, right?

My doula has offered to fly down and wait for the labor if we can get a reasonable estimate of when it would be (encouraging with a stretch and sweep). She has various businesses that enable her to work from a computer but I'm not sure that I'm comfortable with that so I'll probably try to find one there.

The movie spontaneous. We were renoing because it needed to be done but decided a month ago that it was time to move on.

House has a ton of interest but not offers. It's really stressing me out because we need an offer by the 11th in order to secure our buy in Nova Scotia. I also need to get a closing date of mid July or it's going to be too late to move!
