The banana peel is my son's favorite part of the banana; same with oranges. For the longest time he wouldn't eat an apple slice if the apple had been peeled first (even though he couldn't really chew the peel) -- which was a pain in the neck when my sister was visiting because her daughter wouldn't eat it unless it was peeled!

He also likes to chew on pretzels through the baggie, which I'm afraid is dangerous.

The weirdest? How about RAW potatoes and onions? We keep our roots in a bin near the floor, and every so often I'll find him wandering around chewing on one or I'll find a potato on the floor with some bite marks in it. Gross! I know it's not that he's hungry because I can offer him something else and he wants his potato!
