OK it is seeming that Dd1has a really cool sense of humor (at least in my oppinion) Since Dh discovered that one of the best ways to snap her out of a screaming fit is to run through this series of questions.
Dh "what is your name?"
Dd1 "B..."
Dh "what is your cereal number?"
Dd1 "300 frosted flakes" (she came up with this on her own. LOL!)
Dh "what is the mean air speed of a coconut laden swallow?"
Dd1 "African or European?" (dh did teach her that part after she kept answering "I don't know" and it seemed to help with the fits.)
We are getting ready for a weekend trip where Dd will be the only SN kiddo, there will be another SN adult but he is older then my step father. Some of my step father's family are pretty straight laced and some of them might get a kick out of a kid doing Python jokes.
But if a kiddo likes a good Python joke would you teach them other python jokes (that are age appropriate of course) to help with their off moods? Would you keep the routine private?
I'm kicking around teaching Dd1 some more python jokes, but, I'm trying to figure out how to handle it around others. There are some jokes (like from world of warcraft) that Dd1 knows need to stay in the house since other mom's on our street would frown upon a kid knowing about that game, let alone being able to rattle off the various racial histories.
OK I'm going to quit rambling now.
TIA
