DD, 9 weeks, 9.5 lbs., has been in a TrueFit (in my Escape) since birth, and I'm really happy with it. However, we decided to get a 2nd carseat for Huz's truck (an F-150 with a small backseat). So I got a Graco SnugRide because I wanted to have the bucket option and I had a $50 gift card to Sears that I used. I usually wear her when we're out for a long time, but for in and out of the car type days... I really like the idea of being able to snap it to my stroller and get her in and out of the car quickly when we're running errands, BUT it doesn't seem as safe as the TrueFit. There's less foam and she seems to wiggle around in it more, where I really thought it would be smaller and fit her better.
So the question is, do I leave the TrueFit in my car and deal with the in and out, and put the bucket in Huz's truck, or do I take the bucket and put the TrueFit in his truck? I generally don't drive more than 10 miles a day, and the speed limit where I drive is no more than 40mph.
So what do you think? WWYD?
