I have a few FBs that the snaps are no good anymore. I don;t really want to throw them away but all they are doing is taking up space in the cabinet.

I cant use them as swim diapers because of the wonky snaps. They make the wings hang down and the whole diaper droops.

Any ideas on how to get some use out of them?

Have you contacted FuzziBunz and asked them to replace them?

You also might try contacting a WAHM with a snap press, one that you've done business with before? If you take a screwdriver and remove the wonky snaps, then send your dipes to the WAHM, she could probably replace them for you and they'd be good as new!

I forgot to mention that I have talked with FB and they will replace them but I don't think they make fbs without the leg casings anymore. Leg casings leave red marks on dd's thighs so I dont want them.

That's a good idea mom2sailor. Seems like you are a WAHM. Would you be interested?

If you want to use them as swim diapers - use pins to close them.

Did they say they'd replace the snaps or the diapers? They can just replace the snaps as another poster mentioned or another wahm could too.

FB told me that I could not send them the dipes back because they are used and they don't want their workers handling used dipes. I could probably get a credit for them but I really need them to be without leg casings.

the FB I have, have different snaps than what most wahms use. So be sure that whoever you send it to has the same snaps.

or maybe I am on crack and dont know what I am talking about. I think my FB might be older though. I didnt even know they *ever* made them with no leg casing.

Hey mama. I can help. I had another customer send me a fb (without casings) to fix 2 broken snaps. The snaps are not the same as most of us wahms use so I had to drill the old snap out on that row... and put new snaps in. Meaning where she had an outer wing snap broken I drilled out all 3 snaps on that side of the wing that would snap together. So I replaced all of the snaps that went with the broken one. Confusing sounding but not hard at all. Anyway.. it was as good as new. She too liked without the casings. Sooo if you want I can do that for ya. No charge.
