im ready to pull my hair out!! diaper changing is a nerve wracking and infuriating experience. lucien is just way too squirmy which is not necessarily a problem but we are doing prefolds and slip-on pants. you just cant fold a diaper on a baby that wont stay still! i would buy FBs (because they are super easy to snap on him) but i dont have money.

ssoooo.... ive decided to try ECing. weve just started and he is still "diaper-trained." im detecting a few signs but its still very much a work in progress. i could probably scrounge up a few bucks to make my own diapers that i could just "pull-up" on him when he needs a real diaper and would pull off easily for EC time. i was thinking something like a pocket diaper, but no snaps.

also - is there some way to convert "regular" pants to the "crotch-less" pants? its getting cold so naked butt time isnt going to cut it for much longer.

i am guilty of converting regular pants into crotchless ones when we were doing EC. i just ripped stitches in that area and hemmed a bit...they werent thr prettiest, but it beat sewing a new pair...and it worked really well without spending a bunch of money.

i think poquito pants offers a pattern, but i am not sure. also, you might think about the little legs leg warmers...i wish i had thought of it when ds was still doing EC...there is a co-op going for them right now in the TP.

congrats on your decision to go bare!
